Boy Scouts meet from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM all year.

|  Anonymous writes "Please pay special attention to the bold print. Cub Scout Fishing Derby will be held at Camp Columbus 9:00 AM with the awards ceremony at 12 noon Saturday September 27. Registration fee is $5.00. Tigers are required to be accompanied by an adult partner. Parents are much welcomed. We will be registering by Pack. Bring your own fishing stuff and bait. Adults fishing, need to be licensed IAW Tennessee State Law. If you have not registered with me, register and pay your fee when you check in.
Registration Fees for rechartering are due 30 September for returning Scouts. Fees are $22.00. Fees can be paid from a Scout’s Passbook Account if he still has a balance. See Coventry Jones. "

Cub n’ Partner 2008 – Friday thru Sunday, October 3, 4 and 5. Each week end is limited to 175 Cubs, so don’t wait to sign up. Fees are $28.00 for 1 Cub and 1 Adult. This is a cub and Partner Camp, but the whole family is invited. See the registration information for additional procedures. Since we will be camping and cooking as a Pack, there will be an additional cost for Saturday meals. This cost will be about $3.00 per person per meal, but this is only an estimate. Exact cost will be announced next Tuesday. Register on-line or at the Scout Center. Registration Deadline is 5:00 PM Friday 26 September. |  Anonymous writes "Troop 166 recently worked with the National Forest Service and Trout Unlimited to survey Brook Trout in the Cherokee National Forest. The Scouts carried a couple electroshockers two miles into the forest and assisted with netting, cataloging, and returning fish to the stream. They also learned about fly fishing, casting, and assisted in cooking breakfast for the other volunteers. They really enjoyed cooling off in the late afternoon in the cool North river.

| robert_wilson writes "Last weekend was an extra busy weekend for Pack 3266. Friday night we had a lock-in. The boys cooked pizzas and watched movies. Saturday morning was our pinewood derby workshop. It looks like there will be some awesome cars on the track this year. And last, but not least, we visited Jones Observatory where we were able to look at Mars and Orion's belt and watch the planetarium presentation. The boys had a great time and as always, thanks to the leaders that made it all possible.

| robert_wilson writes "Troop 166 recently completed its Summer camp at Camp Sidney Dew in North Georgia. We had 22 Scouts and 8 adults attend camp this year and everyone had a great time. The new Scouts participated in the Spikebuck program, CSD's first year program, while the older Scouts took merit badge classes. The adults took Wood Carving, COPE, and several safety related training. You can check out some of the pictures here.

| robert_wilson writes "Scouts from Pack 3266 had a great time racing their Cub Mobiles at Burks last Saturday. The weather was great and everyone had a great time. In addition to the race, we enjoyed lunch and family fellowship. In addition to our Pack, we had several visitors participate. Thanks to the Cub Mobile Committee and the Hospitality Committee for making this event a success.

| robert_wilson writes "Last weekend, Scouts from Pack 3266 built Cub Mobiles for the upcoming Cub Mobile race. The dens, with help from their parents and leaders, put together Cub Mobile kits created by the Cub Mobile Committee. Many of the dens finished painting their cars at Tuesday night's den meeting. The cars look great and we look forward to a fun Cub Mobile race on the 19th. Thanks to the committee volunteers that are making this happen.
